Jammu and Kashmir is a region in India that consists of two distinct areas: the Jammu region and the Kashmir Valley. The difference between Jammu and Kashmir lies in their geography, demography, and culture.

  • Geography: Jammu region is characterized by hills and forests, with a terrain that is more rugged. On the other hand, Kashmir Valley is more like a valley surrounded by high mountain ranges, with famous valleys such as Tawi, Poonch, Sind, Chenab, and Lidder Valley.
